He began the practice of law in 1975 following his graduation with a Juris Doctor degree from Washburn University of Law in Topeka, Kansas where he served as the Business Editor of the Washburn Law Journal. Mr. McCallister has presented numerous presentations and speeches to legal organizations throughout the United States and has published articles in The Washburn Law Journal and Trial Magazine. Mr. McCallister is admitted to practice in the states of Illinois, Kansas and Colorado and is admitted to both the state and federal courts in those states, the United States Supreme Court and various United States District Courts and United States Courts of Appeals throughout the United States. Thomas A. Kelliher – Medical Malpractice Lawyer

Thomas A. Kelliher is an income partner at Gary D. McCallister & Associates, LLC  Mr. Kelliher was born in Santa Monica, California, in 1964.  During the course of his curriculum at John Marshall Law School, he was a member of Phi Delta Phi, appointed to the Order of John Marshall, and worked as Staff Editor for the John Marshall Law Review.  After graduating from law school in 1994, cum laude, with a Juris Doctor degree, Mr. Kelliher clerked for the Honorable Robert D. Sundby, Wisconsin Court of Appeals, Madison, Wisconsin.  Mr. Kelliher then began the practice of law in Chicago, Illinois, and is admitted to practice law in the States of Illinois and Wisconsin, and further admitted to practice before Federal Courts, including the United States Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit, and various United States District Courts throughout Illinois and Indiana.  Throughout his legal career, Mr. Kelliher has worked as a trial attorney in both the private and public sectors, including as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Chicago’s Law Department.  In addition, he has been an active member of several state and national trial lawyer associations, including the American Association for Justice, the American Health Lawyers Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, and the Chicago Bar Association.  In the summer of 2005, Mr. Kelliher authored “Products Liability in Design Defect Cases:  Application of the Consumer Expectation and Risk-Benefit Tests,” in the Trial Journal.  Mr. Kelliher has also devoted his time to such volunteer organizations as the Chicago Bar Association’s Law Explorers and the Lawyer in the Classroom program of the Constitutional Rights Foundation Chicago.  Mr. Kelliher concentrates his practice in the following areas:  Medical Malpractice, Product Liability, Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Pharmaceutical, Antitrust, Multi-District and Class Action Litigation.
